Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII is a flight combat simulator. It takes place during World War II. You play as a member of a fictional squadron that carries out missions in several war scenarios. There are 18 missions that you can play through and over 40 different planes from WWII. Planes are unlocked throughout the game, as you complete missions.

Graphically, the game is very precise in depicting air combat during WWII. The missions range from attacking ground and air objectives and defending allies. The graphics are very good and the combat can get intense. The controls are relatively easy to use. There aren't many buttons to press all the time. So that makes it easy to control the aircraft. In the easiest difficulty, the game is a bit too easy, but if you play on hard, you will need some time to master your aircraft.

There are nice tutorials for the beginner users that show how to move the plane around and how to use your weapon's systems. After those are completed, you can take on the real action. Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII is not really a flight simulator. It plays more like an action title. Still, the fun is continuous if you are into this type of game.
